Dyeing Easter eggs with onion skins When my children were little, we used to dye Easter eggs together every year. For colouring we mostly used onion skins or other natural colours like tree bark or herb powder. Some natural colours are available in different stores. We even decorated them with small flowers and leaves from our garden.
