Swiss Street Food Awards in Zurich

Did you know that there is a “Swiss Street Food Awards“?

To be honest, I didn’t either. But now I found out about it and would like to introduce this event to you.

From July 8 – 10 2022, 12 food trucks will be stationed at the Marie-Bürkli-Eck in Zurich and cook for young and old.

There is definitely something for everyone!

You can choose between:

• Tacos
• Afghan cuisine
• Sri Lanka Curry
• Curry sausage and Hot-Dog
• Burrito and nachos
• Italian specialties
• Corn Cone sweet or salty
• Burger and Piadina
• Vegetarian dishes
• Momo from Tibet
• Thai dishes
• Vegetarian flatbreads

On Sunday, a jury of experts will choose the best food.

The Swiss Street Food Awards will take place, after 2021, for the second time this year. And whoever is awarded the best Swiss food truck may participate in the European final and represent Switzerland there.

• When: 8 – 10 July 2022 Friday: 16.00 – 22.00, Saturday: 11.00 – 22.00, Sunday: 11.00 – 20.00
• Where: Zurich, Marie-Bürkli-Eck (by the viaduct, near the train station Hardbrücke).
• What: 12 food trucks with food from different corners of the world.
